Hi Everyone, Things are going pretty well at the farm. We're continuing to tackle weeding projects between rain showers, and when it does rain, we work on keeping the greenhouses in good shape. We got the tomatoes tied up again. They're about halfway to the roof, so pretty good for the end of July! By the end of August, they will be towering above us and we'll need ladders to pick tomatoes. Hi Everyone, We've enjoyed a slightly grayer week at the farm; the rain and the slightly cooler weather have been great for the crops! Things are growing well, and we've entered the stage of the summer where it's all about keeping up with the weeding and harvesting. Squash gets picked every other day, beans are picked every third day, and tomatoes and eggplant are picked whenever they are ready, as well as the lettuce, beets, carrots, peppers, etc. We're starting to see the f

Hi Everyone, Well no one can say we aren't getting a real summer this year! Someone turned up the heat, and it's sweltering. But because of Lucky Moon's incredible well and our ability to water, we can keep most of the crops pretty happy. As long as they have enough water, the summer crops really like the heat. The peas are less enthusiastic about it, but the squash, peppers and tomatoes are thriving! We're working on a lot of weeding projects to keep things under control, an

Hi Everyone, Things are going pretty well at the farm and we're excited about the crops on their way. We harvested the first snow peas and summer squash this week, and the beans don't seem to be far behind! The cabbage, winter squash, broccoli and peppers that were transplanted in the last few weeks are all settling in and starting to grow, and now the game is to keep everything weeded, watered and happy so we can reap the bounty in a little while.
