
Week 8
Hi everyone, I love this time of the summer- the tomatoes and eggplant and peppers are just getting started, the beans and beets and carrots are maturing, and the supply of squash seems limitless. So much bounty! And it will continue like this, with any luck, until the cold weather arrives. We did a lot of weeding this week. Week 7
Hi everyone, Wow, it's hot! Sue and Claude finished up with their 1st cutting of hay, and that meant that this week we were able to catch up with some other projects around the farm. The wonderful rain we had on Wednesday helped us catch up on weeding and tending all the things growing in the greenhouses, including tying up the tomatoes again, weeding the beets, picking cucumbers and trellising some of the flowers for the bouquets. Week 6
Hi everyone, It was a crazy week, so sorry this is late, and it will be brief- Things are good at the farm, and with the warm dry weather, Sue & Claude made a lot of beautiful hay, and the rain yesterday will go a long way to rejeuvenating some of the crops that were starting to be unhappy with all the heat and dryness. The peas are winding down, but the beans are right on their tail as well as the cucumbers, and both should be in your bags soon. In Your Bag: Salad Mix Swiss

Week 5
Hi everyone, Happy 4th of July! I hope you all have fun plans for the day, and hopefully they involve ways of staying cool, with plenty of swimming and cold drinks and ice cream. It was a hot week at the farm and the ground has now finally dried out, and things are actually looking a little thirsty! But Claude got some drip irrigation set up on a few of the crops that didn't already have it, and at least the peppers and broccoli got a drink. Things are growing well, and it's
