Hi everyone, It's hard to believe that there are only two more weeks of the CSA for the season! I am again amazed at how the summer flew by in a blur of planting, weeding, harvesting, with the occasional pauses to marvel at a cloud formation, a raven's display flight, or a monarch chrysalis. Hi everyone, Well we've had some perfect September weather this week. The color is just starting to show in the hillsides, the mornings are chilly and misty, but the days are warm and fine. The asters are blooming everywhere, and the crickets are continuing their chorus, even though many of the summer birds have left already. We're starting to gather the storage crops in, and the onions, potatoes, beets and winter squash are getting brought in by the crateload. I really like

Week 14
Hi everyone, Last week the weather was unseasonably hot and humid with temperatures up into the 90s, and then by the weekend, it was barely getting out of the 50s. Both the plants and the farmers were reeling a bit from those drastic changes, but now things are back to a seasonally appropriate 72 or so. We also got about 2 inches of rain on Monday, but things are drying out enough that we have been able to get out and do some weeding. This time of year it feels like a mad das
