Hi everyone, Sue & Claude made it safely back from their trip to Alaska, and I managed to keep the farm afloat (just barely!) while they were gone. Of course, just because we paused the CSA for a week didn't mean that the vegetables took a break. So we have lots of beautiful veggies for you in your bags this week! Hi everyone, We've got some more beautiful vegetables for you this week! The packing area of the barn was kind of crazy this afternoon. So many bins of beautiful vegetables ready to go into bags! Every surface was covered with fresh-picked produce ready to be distributed. Things are going well on the farm. At the moment, the eggplant is far and away the production leader. Week 10
Hi everyone, We've made it to Week 10 — the halfway point in our CSA! You've been patiently waiting for the summer veggies to really come one, and they're finally here! Eggplant, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, beans, onions! I live for this kind of food! And there's such an abundance! Week 9
Hi everyone, It's August, somehow. I always feel this way in the summer — the weeks just fly by! I wish they would do that in February and March... but it's high summer now, for sure! The summer veggies are finally here- — beans, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, and peppers. It's a big relief.
